Framerate
Specifying the framerate of the video is only required when the playback FPS (recorded in the metadata of the video file) is different from the recording FPS. For example, a typical "slow motion" video recorded on a phone might be recorded on 240fps, but be played back at 30fps. To get an accurate reading (and better temporal resolution), specifying the recording framerate is recommended.

Specify the time range with the select bar. Minimize panning as much as possible and avoid zooming.

Specify the vibrating object with the red rectangle. Make sure that your rectangle with the vibrating object is not moving out of the video.

Confirm Skip
To translate the displacement data from pixels to millimetres. Use a reference length which is at approximately at the same depth as the vibrating object and which is horizontal or vertical on the video, not into the screen.
